I oppose HB633

HB 633 is a bill aimed at legislating women’s bodies with no health benefits for women.  It requires a mandatory 24 hour waiting period after visiting a doctor to terminate a pregnancy.

I am urging Florida legislators to vote against HB 633, because a woman’s decisions with her doctor should remain private. And, supporting legislation aimed at shaming, coercing and judging Florida's women is flat out wrong.

I stand with tens of thousands of women in Florida who oppose HB 633 and urge the Florida legislature to oppose the bill.

AND YOU SAY, AS A PARTY, THAT YOU ARE AGAINST GOVERNMENT INTERFERENCE AND CONTROL OF A PERSON’S LIFE. YET YOU CONTINUALLY INTERFER WITH WOMEN’S LIVES. BUT THEN, WOMEN ARE STILL CONSIDERED SECOND-CLASS CITIZENS.

It may come as a surprise to some of our legislators, but women have making up their own minds for a few years, now, and no one seems to be worse off for it.
